The Patient Account Representative will coordinate and bill outpatient charges from Skilled Nursing Facilities. 

Responsibilities: 

• Making copies of demographic patient information and insurance cards; checking to make sure information is correct in computer.
• Verifying insurance coverage for Medicare Part A & B Billing, and other third parties.
• Billing Medicare Part A & B Billing on a UB04 claim form.
• Putting any additional information in computer obtained from patient for billing.
• Collect all co-payments for SNF stays.
• Verify EOB's and EFT's for accuracy.
• Manage Medicare A & B payer, including claims adjustments and all collection efforts.
• Update daily logs and spreadsheets for designated payers.
• Assist with other insurers and insurances when applicable.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong computer skills required. 
• Knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, Matrix, DDE.
• Must be flexible and able to work in stressful environment. Ability to multi-task. 

Prior related experience preferred.

The pay for this position ranges from $23.05 - $28.81 per hour/per year.
